Documentary photographer Peter Beste has spent the last five years working in the milieu of the Norwegian black metal scene. This scene, with its notorious events of murder, church arson and self-mythologization is absolutely sealed to outsiders. JEREMY AND CLAIRE WEISS / DAY19 (LA, CA)
Day19 is the photo studio of Jeremy and Claire Weiss. Claire was born in Bermuda while Jeremy was born in the state that brought us The Boss. They now call the East side of Los Angeles ("the good LA") home even though they spend most of their time on planes.
By growing, learning, and shooting together for over ten years, they have developed a unique sensibility that allows them to capture subjects from complementary perspectives.
They have shot numerous ad campaign and are contributors to a bunch of great magazines. Their work has been shown from Los Angeles to London and a good amount of places in between.

GAUTIER DEBLONDE (Paris, FR)
Gautier Deblonde (b. 1969) grew up in France and came to London to work as a photographer in 1991. A collection of his portraits of artists was published as Artists (Tate, 1999). He also photographed the creation and installation into the Millennium Dome of Ron Mueck ‘s Sculpture “Boy”. This series won a World Press award and was published (Boy, Anthony D’Offay Gallery, 2001) to accompany Mueck’s exhibition at the 2001 Venice Biennale. In 2002 his photographs of the making of Lynn Ramsay’s film Morvern Callar were published as Morvern Callar (Screenpress, 2002). His photographs have been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery (1999), Tate Britain (2001), The Tom Blau Gallery and Focus Gallery, London (2002) and La Chambre Claire, Paris (2003, 2004).
He is finishing two photographic projects; the first one is a journey in the Arctic, This is a photographic project that consists of a series of landscapes, a landscape which is now undergoing major disruption at the hands of both man made pollutants and a natural warming trend, and portraits of the people living there. Some of those images will be projected at the International Photo Festival in Arles the 9th of July 2007, Transfotografia in Poland from 10.08.07 and la maison de la photographie in Lille from the 15.11.07.
The second project is a series of portrait of artists’ studios, they are images that capture what the environment reveals about the artists and their works through the image of the space in the absence of the artists themselves but yet could be seen as a portrait of the artist.

RICHELLE FORSEY (Toronto, ON)
Richelle Forsey is a Toronto-based photographer and photo-illustrator. Raised on a steady diet of National Geographic from birth, Richelle always wanted to be a photographer. She studied art at the Etobicoke School of the Arts, BEALart and the Ontario College of Art.
In 1997 Richelle traveled to South East Asia and spent a year documenting the lives of the ABSDF (All Burma's Students Democratic Front) and refugees living in refugee camps in the border area between Thailand and Burma.
Since her return to Canada she has been hard at work in a variety of artistic professions: illustrating for the Toronto Star, facilitating new media 'workshop adventures' for at-risk youth and even publishing an art's and culture magazine (Hive 2003). Most recently she participates with great

BEN POBJOY (Montreal, QC)
Ben Pobjoy is a Montreal based photographer. Born in 1981, Ben has had a lifelong interest in documenting his life and the people around him. Keen on capturing his subjects' essence, Ben often uses a filmic approach to his raw portraits; photographing his subjects in unending series over long spans of time in constantly changing environments, often in diptych form. His work has been published the world over in magazines and album layouts.
His latest project, Land of America, which was completed in June of 2007 saw Ben travel 7000 miles across America and Mexico on continuous, non stop 90 hour bus rides (from Montreal to LA- and back) photographing American bus stations and bus riders. Land of America will be heavily exhibited in 2008.
Ben currently spends his time photographing, curating, running a gallery he co-founded and co-owns in Montreal, running a design firm he co-founded and co-owns in Montreal and working for a Toronto based integrated marketing firm where he's a partner. Jens Stoltze graduated from the Royal Danish Art School in the mid-nineties and soon after began his career as an independent photographer working with major Danish and international clients.

Agnes Thor was born in Örebro, Sweden in 1986 and has been seriously interested in photography since a young age.
